Roman Heritage

The Roman Villa of Els Ametllers was one of the most important in the province of Tarraco and dates from the 1st century BC. You can visit the remains of the urban part of the town for free.

Shopping in Tossa de Mar

You must visit the local market during your holiday in Tossa de Mar which is on Thursdays and where you’ll find over 100 different stands along Rambla Pau Casals where you can buy local products.

You should also visit the old town, Vila Vella, located inside the medieval wall: cobbled streets with small traditional shops where you can buy souvenirs, clothes and stop for some ice cream.
